Colder temperatures naturally bring more time indoors, so if you’re anything like us, your inner crafter may suddenly appear. So, here are some of our favorite Pinterest DIYs that you can try your hand at – for yourself, or as a head start on Christmas gifts!

Quote Tote or Clutch. Thanks to Kate Spade, accessories with pretty little sayings and hashtags on them have become a major trend. To make your own tote or clutch, all you need is some basic art supplies, a canvas bag and iron-on letters.

DIY Miu Miu Jewel Heels. With holiday festivities right around the corner, a girl needs to have some sparkle in her wardrobe. So, short of spending thousands of dollars on shoes with diamonds, check out this Miu Miu jeweled shoe DIY. All you need is glue, your favorite pair of black heels and some rhinestones from a local craft store. At the very least, go for a glitter sole!

Matching Set. Reinvent an old favorite dress with just a few snips. Although this particular DIY features a dress a tad bit short and showing too much skin on the midriff, this look can certainly be reinvented to be more work-appropriate (or at least for your days off) with some of our favorite matching sets here.

Fringed Clutch. So, you know how we decided to try the fringe trend? Of course, there is a DIY way to do it, like this quick tutorial on how to add leather fringe to a black clutch. The hardest part would seem to be getting your hands on the right materials to copy the look.

Three-in-One Sweater. Put an old sweater to good use with this DIY tutorial that shows you how to turn a sweater into a headband, an infinity scarf AND boot cuffs. Talk about feeling warm all over!
