I have never been this mentally drained in my life.
Never. I have spent countless of days with my face buried in my laptop and been sleepless for many consecutive nights for the past few weeks. Not that I'm complaining but o
h, the misfortunes of being in the final year of college! It's bittersweet. I'm surprised how my tiny body manages to handle extreme pressure. But this time I really had to take a few days off for some major 'me' time. And just for the record, spending the entire Sunday morning lounging by the pool made me feel a whole lot better for the rest of the week.
I'M WEARING: Romwe top | Persunmall skirt | Splash sunglasses
Anyway, bonjour! Remember me? I'm back from yet another blogging hiatus. It's only been a month, but it sure felt like forever. As much as I would love to maintain my blogging activity while working on my final-year project and dissertation, I just could not handle all the stress. Thank goodness all my final-year coursework is done and now I have all the time in my hands to get Le Paper Doll up and running again. I'm not exactly on spring break - because I don't get to have one, bummer - but I'm not going anywhere anymore - not soon, at the very least.
It has also been a while since I last blogged an outfit, so here's a new one! I badly wanted to catch up with my blogging so I had to make my 'lounging' a bit productive by snapping a few photos of my easy-breezy getup.
I was wearing a bright pink crop top from
Romwe and a
seafoam green chiffon skirt from Persunmall, which is my new closet favorite. It's amazing how high-low skirts are so versatile - dress them up or dress them down. I once wore this skirt to Lavin Paris' store launch last month (to be blogged soon) and it looked so glammed up, in contrast to how I wore it by the pool. I think I would never cease to obsess over flowing mullet skirts; there's just something in them that screams
sexy.
