Here & There 8.23

Can you believe it's August 23rd already? It blows my mind how quickly this summer has flown by, though I'm not complaining about the cooler mornings and evenings we've been treated to the past few days. Right now, I'm listening to the Grateful Dead (Box of Rain - listen to it and I dare you to not get emotional), while it drizzles outside (which is especially awesome because it means there are no children playing in the park across the street screaming bloody murder...I'm officially a crone), and a stick of campfire incense burns. It smells campy in here and it's the best.

Today we're heading out to Terrain to their Heirloom Tomato Festival. I'm excited to take some pictures for work, and also to pick up these string lights for the bedroom (they're so, so pretty). I'm feeling more centered than I was the other day, and excited for the weekend ahead. What are you up to?
