Fall jars....

I don't really want to admit it but FALL is fast approaching. I love Fall but this Summer has just been amazing and I will be sad to see it go. I decided to start this project with some "Fallish" colors and to make something I have been wanting to make for some time. I love Mason jars so that is the direction I took this project.

First, I rounded up three different jars. Two are Mason jars and one is not. This first large Mason jar I spray painted this lovely green color. I added the trim around the outside of the lid and I love that it really compliments the green. I took 3 of the Linen Stars and folded them in half and glued them to the outside of the top of the jar. Once the jar lid is tightened it just gave it that extra "homey" feel. Using some Maya Road twine I tied two of the Maya Road Metal Feathers to the jar as well. I bent the feathers to add some visual intrest. A Maya Road Burlap Posie and this jar looks amazing!

I found this slotted opening for the Mason Jar at Jo-Anns and decided to add it to my jar. I have been wanting to make a donation jar of sorts. I plan on putting a set amount of money everytime I work out and then to treat myself to a new outfit when I reach my next goal!

This next jar I took a page out of the Linen 4x3 album and wrapped around the smaller white jar. I love the rustic, country look of this. I simply repeated the Burlap Posie to the front to continue the theme with the other jar.

The last jar I decorated with some funky textured paper I had found at a Flea Market. I accordian folded it and then secured it with some Maya Road twine. Again I added the Burlap Posie to go with my rustic country look!

I hope you enjoyed my simple way to spruce up some jars for the Autumn season! Maya Road has the perfect products to turn simple things into fabulous home decor! Happy creating!
