Nautical 'I Dos': Bright + Bold Color + Stripes

If you know me, then you know that I have a major soft spot for bright colors, all things nautical, and stripes. And so when this styled shoot popped up in my inbox, that had all of the above, I couldn't wait to share it with you guys! With a "Summer in the Hamptons" theme in mind, this styled shoot started to take life. And lucky for us, we get a front row seat to all of this preppy goodness!
With styling and planning by Two by Two: Events Productions and photography by Marie Photography, this dream team of wedding pros really did capture this nautical theme perfectly! Mind you, this shoot took place in Kansas City. And so the challenge of merging a nautical theme with a middle-of-the-map city was at the forefront for these pros. But guess what? They totally pulled it off and then some!
Details to be on the lookout for: Seahorse place card holders, lemon filled mason jars, seashell accents, handmade map garlands, and plenty of bold, bright color. Oh, and did I mention nautical stripes? Because there's a whole lot of that in this shoot. Which of course makes me a very happy wedding blogger.

So fun and absolutely perfect for a Summer wedding. Am I right? And I don't know about you, but I'm totally loving all of these seaside inspired details! From those adorable little anchors to the knot motifs on the invitations. Yep, I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I could do it all again (same groom of course) then I'd totally do a nautical theme. Because seriously, what's not to love?
