RER Gets a New Car!

Hello! How’s it going?

This morning I did my usual run/eat action and just right now am again realizing I DON’T HAVE MY GARMIN WORKING!!?!!%$#!!

Monican, get it together – you have a race this weekend.

Anyway. After my run and eat I showered and donned a RunEatRepeat tee just in case I forget what order they’re supposed to go…

Then, I set off to run some errands.

So, I forgot to tell you that I GOT A NEW CAR!!!!!!

Week before last my car needed some service and when I called my brother to ask his opinion on the things the mechanic wanted me to do he suggested I might want to reconsider putting a bunch of money in it and selling it before it got to 100K miles. So, I took his random suggestion and went with it.

I did a ton of research. I printed out an great deal I saw online and figured I’d shop around and see who’d match it. I went to the dealer to test drive my dream car – a RED Prius C (it’s the compact Prius and is pretty small). Mostly I just wanted a red car.

I went by myself too! Isn’t that crazy?! I felt so grown up buying a car with no one there to agree or disagree or to give me advice.

I ended up with an amazing deal. I don’t think the sales team realized I was not playin’. (I’m kinda good at buying cars, let me know if you want to hire me to help you.)

My RED RED RED car. I have always wanted a red car, but have just went with the best deal in the past. I was super happy to get seriously an amazing offer on a red Prius. (Thank you Toyota Irvine.)

Now I just need some friends. Then, I can really live it up.

After my errands today I came back home for lunch. I’m glad I made extra fish last night for dinner – made lunch so easy!

This picture is a little blurry, but I snapped one and then dropped my phone and it restarted and I wasn’t about to wait for that to come back to life to take a clear one… #truth

One of my errands was to Costco, so there was also a lot of sampling action that was kinda part of this meal
