LunatiCK Cosmetic Labs Relic Palette

I don’t actually celebrate Halloween but it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate all the things that go bump in the night . . . as long as they aren’t spiders . . . I REALLY hate spiders. I love anything dark fantasy or sci-fi related – it’s my guilty pleasure – so when I was asked if I wanted to review a GORGEOUS eyeshadow palette from the latest US indie makeup brand to make it across the pond, I just has to drop everything I was doing and review their coffin shaped palettes.

I’ve been lucky enough to be given the LunatiCK Labs Relic Eyeshadow Palette (RRP £22.95) which is coffin shaped palette with 5 warm bronze, brown and dark orange shades. I actually LOVE the dark matte orange shade included in this palette as it makes a great transitional colour for darker skin tones and the dark, cool-toned brown featured in this palette creates a very soft, crease shade when blended out with a fluffy brush. The shades are very pigmented – though they do create a crazy amount of fallout - but what I love most about this palette is it’s packaging.

The packaging on this palette is testimony to cult-horror icons. The interior of the Relic palette is plastered with pictures of classic movie monsters; e.g Bride of The Monster, Dracula, The Invisible Man etc , a Ouija board, bio hazard signs and a crystal ball.

I actually chose to review the Relic palette as I feel that a few of you tend to shy away from indie brands because you think you can’t get every day, wearable shades but LunatiCK Labs is a 100% vegan and cruelty free range with products that can be worn by anyone. I’m talking ‘blushing brides to bloody brides of Frankenstein and everything in between’.

The LunatiCK Cosmetic Labs Relic Palette costs £22.95 and is now available to purchase from CutECOsmetic.
