Summer Beauty Picks

La semana que viene empieza el verano, así que es hora revisar nuestro maquillaje y escoger algunos favoritos para esta temporada. A mi me encanta cuando llega este momento porque se descubren algunos viejos favoritos y algunas cosas olvidadas. Vamos a ellos:
Next week is the start of summer, so it's time to check the vanity and pick some beauty bits for this season. I love this time because I love going through all my makeup and rediscover some old favourites and some forgotten pieces. Let's see them:

Too Faced Natural Eyes palette
Creo que esta paleta tiene unos colores perfectos para el verano, unos tonos dorados y tierras preciosos
I think this palette has beautiful colours for summer, some pretty gold and earthy tones and the quality is just perfect.

Urban Decay Polyester Bride eyeshadow - Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner 06
Y porque no todo van a ser tonos marrones, mis escogidos son esta sombra de Urban Decay en un color blanco muy bonito y natural con un poco de purpurina y un eyeliner en azul para salir de la rutina del eyeliner negro.
And because not all is going to be about brown shades, I picked this white shade form Urban Decay, it has a little bit of shimmer and a beautiful white shade, not too white, and a blue eyeliner to change the routine of the black eyeliner.

NYX blush in Angel - Benefit Coralista blush - Peggy Sage Mosaic Powder
Y para las mejillas mis favoritos son los colores melocotón con un poco de brillo y mis favoritos son estos; el de NYX tiene un color más clarito que el de Benefit pero ambos dan un color muy saludable a la cara Y un poco de bronceado para nuestras mejillas mientras no cogemos color, no viene mal. Este de Peggy Sage está muy bien porque no es sólo un polvo de sol, también tiene unos tonos rosas y un poco de brillo.
For the cheeks I like peachy colours with a hint of shine and my favoutires are these, the NYX one it has a lighter colour than the Benefit but they both leave a healthy glow on the cheeks. And a little bit of bronzy tones on the cheeks is welcome as well while we're waiting to be tanned. I really like this one from Peggy Sage because it doesn't have only a bronzy shade, it has a pink shade too and a little bit of shimmer.

MAC Speak Louder lipstick - Holika Holika Moisture lipstick CR301 - Make Up For Ever Lab Shine lipgloss
Para los labios he escogido estos dos labiales con bastante color, el de MAC es en el tono Speak Louder, es un tono entre rojo y rosa muy lindo y no hace los dientes muy amarillos, así que perfecto. Y el otro es de Holika Holika, del que os hablo constantemente, pero es que tiene un color muy bonito y veraniego (podéis ver como queda en esta entrada: link). Y también escogí un gloss porque este año se llevan los labios glossy y este para poner sobre cualquier labial o para llevar solo es perfecto, no se pega nada y el brillo es muy sutil.

For the lips I've picked these two lipsticks with a little bit more of colour than my usual, the MAC one is in the shade Speak Louder a lovely shade in between a red and a pink. And the other one from Holika Holika, how many times can I tell you how much I love this lipstick? Not enough, but I'll tell you that it has a very summery tone (you can see a swatch in this link). I also chose a lipgloss because they say that glossy lips are the trend for this summer and this is perfect to wear over the top of any lipstick or on its own, it's not sticky and has a subtle shine.
