Butterfly Pillow Tutorial

Today I am sharing a pillow tutorial written for ThermOWeb with fabric courtesy of Blend. The fabric is Mariposa by Shell Rummel. This pillow will be another Pay It Forward gift to a lovely lady out in New Mexico. The butterfly fabric made me think of the butterfly migration south. I’m hoping she’ll love it!

This project uses my favorite standby ThermOWeb product, fusible fleece, but also two brand new products!

I used StitchNSew EZ Quilt Blocks which are foundation piecing sheets that can be fed through an inkjet or laser printer.

I also used their new Pressing Paper which is shiny on one side. You put that side up against those edges where your fusible fleece or HeatnBond applique might otherwise come into contact with your iron. Then you iron on the non shiny side. This has the potential to make my iron a lot happier.

I hope you will check out the tutorial here.
