Visiting: Niagara-On-The-Lake
I love small romantic towns. This past long weekend we took a bit of a road trip (ok it was a pretty looong drive) down to Niagara-On-The-Lake. Nestled along the shores of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario, and close to the U.S. border, it's a beautiful charming and historic town. Heritage homes, countless wineries and vineyards, and the Old Town shopping district with its quaint shops, boutiques and restaurants... I fell in love!

We also visited a winery and toured the vineyards, and of course, tasted some icewine (yumm!) but I will save that for my next post!
It was our first adventure down to this quaint little town and I hope not the last. Will definitely have to return soon. And if my dreams come true, someday I can make a small romantic town like this one my permanent home. With white picket fence and all :D
