Get to know me and my blog #feelgoodblogging

I love to challenge myself and push myself to grow this blog,my baby, in to something more amazing than I could have ever dreamed of. So I am joining Alex Beadon’s feel good blogging challenge where I blog for the next week. Today is day one. Today’s post will introduce you a little more to me and my blog. If you’ve been reading the blog for awhile, which is awesome and thank you, you might know some of this already.

I am Karissa, I am almost 30, really almost 30 my birthday is next week. I was born near San Diego as the oldest of three girls. I now have my own family with my husband of ten years and our daughter Isabella. She gets blogged about a lot because she’s pretty amazing. I still live in the San diego area but I like it here except when it’s really hot in late summer. We have a lot of family near by which is nice for us and my daughter loves it.

Here’s my family over the weekend at my daughter’s birthday

I started blogging a little more than two years ago. I started reading blogs in 2010 when I had a stroke and was on the computer a lot. I started my own blog to give myself more of a community. I still can’t drive or work outside the home and although I have family and friends it gets lonely at times so blogging became my way of connecting to people, feeling a part of their lives and letting them in to mine.

My blog started out as mainly geared towards moms or women with posts about budget, organization and such. I recently am starting to change direction and write for other bloggers and people wanting to understand social media. I am still working on making that transition but it’s where I feel I need to be writing about and who I need to write for. I want my blog to be inspirational and make people feel good. I got so much positivity from other bloggers, especially when things were tough and I want to give that back in my blog.

I’m really working on re-branding and changing up my blog to reflect me and my vision better. I’m excited about getting my ideas done and sharing them with my readers and growing.

My one message I want to give people is just go for it, whatever you want don’t let fer and self doubt hold you back you are stronger than you realize. Trust me.
