Effugium

The secret is out - (new year, no secretz) - well clocked, you. As demonstrated by my absent-minded lack of continuity in the shots above, I am, in fact, a closeted glasses wearer. I take them off for photographs everywhere always, yet IRL they rarely leave my nose. Whilst I cannot contend that glasses are wonderful things - they slide no matter how much they are tightened, and the specs-long eyelashes combo is a stellar contributor to the permanent Dutty Haze Visual Effect - despite all that, they are not something I resent. Besides... spending days working indoors, reading, jotting down lecture notes are all unavoidable in term-time, and all are ideal eyesight-burnout activities. Oh, and staring at a screen waiting for essays to materialise: comparable only to watching paint dry in levels of bliss.

I do not mean to provide a daunting sketch of "#unilyfe"; in the end, the above are only cause for "#fun" to be more saturated when it happens. Kicking one's glasses off every once in a while (metaphorically speaking) and taking a cycle somewhere is ideal. I was lucky enough to be sent this dress by Cath Kidston, which proved super practical when cycling around as well as blending in with Oxford's autumn aquatint.
