Walk the Walk: Thom Browne F/W 2015 Collection

In Thom Browne's world, everything is whimsical, surreal, and occasionally, mysterious. Just like the menswear, for this F/W 2015 season, the designer touches upon a sensitive topic for his womenswear collection - death.

The mourning clothes in this collection are not the ones you see at the average funeral service. They are dramatic, chic, and full of interesting details. For the first time, the designer uses the zipper as the major element, and it adds a modern vibe to many of the pieces. Of course, how can you not love the headgears created by Stephen Jones? They just add a nice touch to the entire runway presentation.

I enjoy the presentation of this collection a lot, as it lets me think about the subject death. Many people may think angels have wings and look like fairies. However, in here, they all seem to be very normal and are dressed in white. If Thom Browne's world is right, then will you start to think heaven differently from now on?
