Clinique All About Eyes Rich

The cold months have well and truly set in and with it comes dry, dehydrated skin. As I mentioned in my last review on the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask, I got two free samples with my purchase, one being the All About Eyes Rich. As you might know already, I'm a huge fan of the original All About Eyes, and since I've been battling dry skin I was super keen to try the rich version.

The All About Eyes Rich is targeted at those with very dry to dry combination skin, although people with normal to oily skin could use this as a night treatment with no troubles. The difference between the two formulas mostly comes down to the textures; the normal formulation is a cream/gel whereas the rich formulation is a thick rich cream. The rich version also claims more benefits including 'protecting collagen production and strengthening the skin's moisture barrier.'

The cream is quite thick and I even have a bit of trouble getting it out of the jar. I expected it to feel heavy and greasy, but once on it feels moisturising without the greasiness. It doesn't irritate my eyes or my skin, and I feel safe using a tiny bit on my eyelids. As for the results, I wake up every morning with reduced under eyes circles and bags are pretty much a thing of the past! However, I can't testify to any anti-ageing benefits as I currently don't have many lines.

I definitely recommend this as a night time winter must-have for all skin-types, and an all round must-have for those of us with dryer skin!
