Happy St. Joseph’s Day: Celebrating A Local Flavor

Happy St. Joseph’s Day to our fellow Rhode Islanders! We’re celebrating this best-kept-secret holiday with some traditional Italian pastries (Zeppoles) and lots and lots of vibrant reds! Just two days after the Celtic-famed holiday, St. Patrick’s Day, comes a day to feast and commemorate another religious figure: St. Joseph.

What better way to show our love for our home state of Rhode Island than by supporting another local business? We visited LaSalle Bakery, an Italian bakery, in Providence where “feast your eyes” is more than just a phrase. If you’re in the area and you’re looking for some local flavor, be sure to visit them for their friendly staff and scrumptious goodies!
