Its the overgrown driveway to an abandoned farm, right on the main road to my neighborhood. I drove far enough up the drive so that most cars on the street couldnt exactly tell what I was doing ha. Yesterday, I was prancing around in the weeds, feeling the soft breeze, loving life. Today I can barely move. I got up this morning and did a 7.46 mile race. I did the race last year as well--finishing in 1:54, not my best time and I had been training. But I had some dehydration complications. This year my only goal was to beat last years time. Official results havent been posted yet, but according to the stop watch on my iPod I finished in 1:45! I was stoked. I now have multiple blisters on my feet, a sweet sunburn on my forehead and cheeks, wheezing due to my exercise induced asthma, and too many aches and pains in my sad, sad legs.
