Parnassus Magazine Interview

I am overjoyed to be included in the pages of Parnassus magazine! What a reward for somebody like me to receive! I have spent my entire life in empty rooms, writing for nobody but myself, to be given the gift of acknowledgement makes every quiet moment worth it.
Parnassus is a magazine that celebrates the independent thinker, the curious and the creatively thirsty. When they reached out to me for an interview, I couldn't believe my luck. I felt very much at ease when taking part in their questions – we talked about my home schooling years, my writing style, little anecdotes about my daily life and how I feel about the internet as a platform for artists. There was a rush of excitement when I held the printed magazine in my hands for the first time. I never thought a girl like me would have people interested in her brain, let alone find herself in print. Thank you Parnassus magazine and for everybody who ever asked to read my poetry or visited my blog.
The printed issue is sold out but you can still find my interview online here
"Parnassus’ ethos of celebrating individuals with romantic imaginations and a curiosity for knowledge rings true with the diversity of topics covered, all aiming to engage and inspire the minds of its readers. Amidst the confines of its pages you will find social documentary accounts, interviews, cultural debates, editorials, and a showcase of new talent."
"Sometimes we get so caught up in what society tells us to be, we forget that there is more than one way to learn, teach, and live. Your time on earth is limited, even if you live a long time, you won't live forever. Quit worrying about what other people think of you."
