Last night was Quinn’s first Halloween — sort of. Last year, she was too young to be able to understand any of it or to take out trick-or-treating. This year, she’s still too young to be able to understand any of it, but she is old enough for it to be totally socially acceptable and expected for me to take her trick-or-treating — and then I get to steal her candy.
And that is exactly what happened.
Thank you adorable toddler in a pirate dress. I’d forgotten how delicious Nerds could be.
Well, she started out in this “Autumn Princess” get up or whatever it was called. We put it on for funsies during the day.
A little pre-trick-or-treat play time with friends. Here she is donning her official Halloween costume: Pirate Princess. Must all girl costumes have the name “princess” in them? Ugh. Don’t even get me started…
