Goals :: February 2013

Yes, it's the middle of the month.
Yes, I'm posting my goals anyway.

Blog:

Clean up the design. I feel like it's gotten away from me and that it's not terribly efficient.
Learn more about search engine technology. It's something that I've tried to breeze over. But now I have a friend-date with a super smart woman who is versed in these things. I'm seriously (nerdily) excited about this.
Collaboration. I'm doing this in small ways (talking with fellow friends/bloggers about successes and problems) and big ways (asking a semi-famous life coach to be interviewed for the blog.) The famous person said,"no", my friends said, "yes". I am totally okay with that.

Personal

Find a painting class. I've had a recommendation but I am going to keep looking because it doesn't look like a good fit. Does that make me a painting class snob? Hope not.

Projects

Finish the knitting project that refuses to go away. I volunteered for it. It is intense. It needs to be done in a specified amount of time. Knit like the wind Paige! Knit!!
Apply for Upstream Art. Because sometimes painting a storm drain is a good addition to ones life list.
Develop a community art project in my hometown. This is an idea that came to me out of the blue recently. It may turn into something. It may not. There's no hurt in starting a conversation via email right?

Finances

Next month I turn 29 so expect Goals :: March 2013 to be fun.

Until then- Any recommendations for a painting class? I'm even open to something on-line if it's sufficiently amazing.
