I've always wanted to have high tea–an easily attainable dream I know, but one that never quite worked out. As you've probably spied on my Instagram, my boyfriend and I spent Valentine's day weekend in Hershey, Pennsylvania (the self-proclaimed "sweetest place on earth," so chocolate-related food expectations were high). I noticed they had a tea on the calendar of events at our hotel (the Hotel Hershey, a very gorgeous Historic Hotel of America, but more on that later), but I hesitated to book it. My boyfriend made the decision for us and it was a great one. The food was as spectacular as the 1930s Spanish-style fountain lobby. Some standouts? A chocolate BBQ shrimp salad sandwich with cilantro, a sliced cucumber and white chocolate cream cheese sandwich, a raspberry truffle tartlet, and of course, chocolate-covered strawberries. I can't even count how many of those we ate over the course of the weekend!
