{things i wore} ankle boots

This is what happens when you wait till late in the day to snap a few photos of an outfit and it's February during the absolute coldest and snowiest winter in memory: you find yourself posing in a gorgeous, mostly empty hotel hallway of a 1930s hotel rather than freeze (only after adding a few layers was this look was step-outside worthy). These ankle boots are new–I got them for a great price from Madewell, so be sure to stalk them if you're in the market for a new pair. The heel is super chunky and well-balanced so there is no chance of slipping, plus they are incredibly warm. Trust me–I've been testing them out!
