Primark Home Haul – Candles and Flamingo Canvas

With being on a healthy eating kick and loosing some weight, I’ve been trying to stay way clear of all the new Spring/Summer clothes. Earlier this week, I headed into Primark and managed to only get a top. I have so many clothes (especially jeans) which no longer fit. So, I feel I need to wait till I’m near my body goal till I purchase my Summer wardrobe.

Of course, it meant I was able to have a good luck around Primark’s homeware range and it didn’t disappoint. With plenty of pretty tealight holders and candles, I spotted their Pineapple candle (£2) and fell in love.

I have a few un-burned candles from Primark already, so I didn’t want to add to my over-growing collection. But, they had a couple designs similar to the pink and gold candle pot (£3) I got. This one is in Red Berry and Jasmine – which I already knew I loved. Even though Primark’s candles are super cheap, I find they still burn well and have a good scent pay off. I often save my more expensive candles for a special occasion (like watching my favourite TV show – who we kidding?!) and use my cheaper ones to burn throughout the day, mostly everyday. I couldn’t resist the owl shaped candle (£1.50) and although I will never burn him, he will look cute somewhere in our new place. The textured tea light holder (£1.50) will look nice paired with a scented candle and probably on our coffee table.

Primark Home’s Flamingo canvas (£2.50) was a complete steal of a price. I’m not sure where I’d put this yet. But, I always tend to wonder what to hang on small blank walls. So, this will definitely come in handy.

I can’t wait to burn the candles, but in the meantime everything is wrapped up and packed away for when we move. I love finding candles which I don’t worry about burning and wasting.

Anyone else keep their more luxurious candles for special occasions like me?
