My Go-To Autumn Look

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum is still one of my top 5 foundations, I think for the change of seasons this will be my cheat for glowing healthy skin. As for concealing I’m still using and loving the Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing concealer, however this is almost empty so another one will need to be repurchased OR I am considering Cliniques Airbrush Concealer loved by makeup artist Lisa Eldridge. Thoughts? Have you tried both, I could do with a little help! Another trick for healthy glowing skin this Autumn is a warm complexion but without looking bronzed up. Hard I know, however the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Summer Kiss Compact has a beautiful healthy glow without looking overly tanned. On the apples of the cheeks I’ve been swirling Mighty Aphrodite by Mac, sadly this was limited edition, it’s mainly a healthy peachy shade one side with warm coral shade the other, when the two are swirled together they create a beautiful healthy warm shade for the cheeks. I then used theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer over the cheekbones, brow bone and Cupid’s bow.

For the eyes I wanted to keep it quick and simple, I used Boots No7 Stay Perfect Shade & Define in Cool Mink all over the lids and then tried the new Body Shop Smoky 2 in 1 Gel Liner. Now wait just a minute this is definitely for you if you can’t go a day without brows and eye liner! There’s a nifty little applicator brush inside the lid, it pops out and then you simply turn it around and clip in back into the lid and use that as your brush! The shade is dark brown, a word of warning you need a gentle hand when applying to the brows. I would use your hand and rub a little product off before applying straight to the brows. After filling in my brows I then applied the liner to the top lash line and lower lash line. Then to finish off the look I applied lashings of mascara, my current favourite is the PUR Minerals Big Look Waterproof Mascara.

Of course the Autumn look wouldn’t be complete without plum lips! My all time favourite lip colour is the Revlon Balm Stain in Crush, a great shade to wear during the day or evening.

I have been wearing this look and reaching for these products every day for the past week!

Do you have favourite shades to wear this time of year?
