Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water review: A must have

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is a true must have. At only £4.99 for a whopping 400ml, you can’t really afford to not have a bottle in the bathroom.

This is just a quick review because as far as I can tell, the product is identical to the Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar from its sister brand, L’Oréal, which I reviewed here, except the bottle is double the size for the same price. The ingredients are the same, the performance is the same. It whips make-up, dirt and oil off the skin and onto a cotton wool pad in seconds, leaving no residue and no skin tightness.

The bottle is only slightly less annoying than the L’Oréal bottle, in that it’s still hard to control how much of the product goes onto the cotton wool pad, and it drips down the bottle easily. But I solve that by transferring the cleanser into a “one touch” pump bottle from Menda (review to follow) which saturates a cotton wool pad evenly and without any wastage. Below is my Menda pump dispenser.

I use this cleanser before washing my face with a cream or hot cloth cleanser. While micellar cleansing waters are amazing for getting off make-up (including mascara), I could never go to bed without a proper deep clean after!

If you have never tried a micellar cleansing water before, I really recommend trying this out.
