Colors by Llarowe Show Me Collection

I can’t believe that I am still cycling through new finds from July, but here I am!

Today I have swatches from the Show Me Collection from Colors by Llarowe. I received the polishes in a gift bag at an indie event while at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas, and they were my introduction to the brand – but not Llarowe. I’d purchased from Leah Ann LaRowe’s shop several times since it opened. It was nice to put the face with the name at the show.

Leah Ann told me she started her own line because there was still a color she wanted that she couldn’t find in the brands she stocked in her online shop. So she bought ingredients, started playing around, and ended up creating her own line. Creating nail polish is relaxing for her, she added.

I took this snap of part of her display at the Sparkle and Wine event held in conjunction with Cosmoprof!

So how about some swatches?! Duochrome is my favorite, but these are more like multichromes!

Show Off!:

Show Off! is a beautiful coppery base that shifts golden/bronzey/green. It’s also got lots of scattered holo, which you can detect in that first sunlight photo! I used two coats.

Show Me Again:

Show Me Again is a blue/purple/teal/pink shifter, with scattered holo. I’m obsessed with this. I love it! I wore it with two coats.

Show Me Da’ Money:

Show Me Da’ Money is a green base that shifts a darker green/blue/yellow. It’s also got scattered holo and is stunning on the nail! Two coats here.

Show Me the Love:

Show Me the Love is like changing leaves to me – it’s a red maple leaf base that shifts golden/bronzey and also has scattered holo. Shown here in two coats.

Overall, I really liked these polishes! The swatches show brush strokes, but the ones I wore do not, because top coat levels them out.

They were easy to apply and the effect is really nice.

The Show Me Collection is available here on the Llarowe website, and the polishes are $12 each. It looks like Show Off! is not on the site right now/anymore.

What do you think of these polishes?! I prefer them in the shade vs. sunlight, because of the shift, although the holo effect is prettier in the sun, obviously!
