This Year Will Be Different

I can’t help but get excited whenever the post man rings the bell. While I usually know exactly what is arriving, today I had a super special surprise! But let’s rewind a little: Last Fall, Monika Kanokova asked if I had time for an interview for her upcoming book. Of course I had time – but why me? Monika quickly explained that she wanted to create the ultimate freelance guide to help young women thinking about taking the step towards self-employment. We all have big dreams, but sometimes that is just what they will forever be: dreams… We find an excuse why those dreams have to wait, why it would never work, or why we are happy just they way things are. But guess what? This Year Will Be Different! That year was 2014 for me, when Kathi and I decided to take the plunge and spend all our time and energy on something we truly believe in. It worked for us, and it can work for you just the same!

After talking to 23 successful women, Monika published their stories all wrapped up in the ultimate insightful guide to becoming a freelancer. Today, my signed copy arrived, and I could not be prouder to be a part of the book. To share the love, I have one extra copy for one of you girls! After all (disclaimer: cheesiness ahead), my work would be worth nothing without all of you. I literally could not do what I love on a daily basis, if nobody was reading my blog. Therefore, a big thanks goes out to all of you, and hopefully this book will help some of you chase after those dreams and do what makes you happiest!
