Rain Won’t Hold Us Down (Lilyanne Nguyen)

I’ve said it a hundred times, but I’ll say it a thousand more: I have the most amazing friends. They say if you want to have greatness in your life, you have to surround yourself with great people. That’s why my friends are smart, funny, ambitious, kind, creative, adventurous, and are nothing short of a blessing in my life. Take, for example, Peter. He and I met while attending Blanche Macdonald in 2007. We didn’t like each other at first, but after volunteering at the same event, we hit it off and bonded over our chronic bitch faces and mutual hate for Coach, and the rest is history.

Even though Peter now resides in Toronto, we’re always able to pick up right where we left off when we see each other again. During his last visit, we caught up over donuts and lattes, followed by a shoot with Nigel in our matching all-black ensemble, but not before a hair colour touch up by Calvyn.
