Merry & Bright.

This Christmas season was extra special for me this year. I've talked about it on Twitter and Instagram, so I'm sorry (but not at all sorry) you have to read about it for the millionth time, but... I'm cancer-free. I had some tests done before Christmas, and they came back all clear. It was so shocking to hear that, especially so soon, but it was the best freaking surprise in ALL the world. The best kind of Christmas gift. I still have to continue treatment, and will finish strong after the new year. I still have down days, and don't feel quite like my old self, yet, but that's expected. Recovery will take a long time, and I'm trying to be gentle with myself. I'll get there. I've been sending up extra grateful, thankful prayers for such a rad miracle, and for the doctors, who worked their magic, to be blessed in big ways.

There was a lot of celebrate this Christmas - I think it was one of my very favorite Christmases, yet. Christmas or Hanukkah or maybe even Christmakkuh (hey, Seth Cohen) - whatever you celebrated, I hope you had the merriest, brightest, warmest, most joyful of holidays. xo.
