I was listening to the song above while scrolling through some of my favorite photos the other night, and something about Jose's beautiful music, mixed with the gorgeous images in front of me, almost made me cry.
I think there people in this world who see and capture things in an extra breathtaking way. Sometimes it's loud, vibrant, big, moving moments that they so brilliantly capture. But also the tiny, but beautiful moments, that are forgotten. The things that so easily go unnoticed. The glances that are missed. Corners of their city or street or country that are often neglected. They turn something that seems so ordinary, and breathe life into it. And the rest of us are lucky to witness the magic they release into the universe. They inspire me to open my eyes, and really look and see the world around me, in an entirely new, wide-eyed, grateful light.
Appreciate the small things. Remember those quick moments, before you blink and miss them. There is beauty and adventure and wonder around every corner, just waiting to inspire you, move your soul, touch your heart, give you goosebumps, and bring tears to your eyes... if you just take the time to look.
Capture something today. Anything. Grab your phone, or dust off your camera, or grab some paint brushes and that blank canvas just waiting to be used. Sit down, go for a walk, hit the road, or just be still. And capture it. Whatever it is. Pay attention. The world will show you.
