Hello there! I haven't done a super fashion-y (yes, that's a word I use) post in awhile, but when ModCloth asked me to style one of their dresses for a Polyvore challenge, I couldn't say no. I love styling, I love ModCloth, and I have way too much fun on Polyvore (cough cough).
As easy as it would have been to style this dress in a super girly way and embrace its feminine qualities, I wanted to show that while this dress is certainly appropriate as wedding, work, or date attire, it's also got a lot of casual potential! You can rock this versatile striped mini for pretty much any occasion at any time of year with the right accessories. I know the scarf would obviously cover up the neck detailing, but in doing so that really changes up your look and makes it less noticeable that you did perhaps take pictures in this dress at a dressier event last week. Ya feel me?
Anyway, this was a fun little challenge, and I'm def gonna start using Polyvore more often from now on. Be sure to check out ModCloth's other sweet dresses - there are so many more to choose from! My favorites include wine and tapas, twilight on the terrace, and the laid back luxury dress. At the very least, you've gotta appreciate their creative names. Pretty perfect. Alright, peace out!
