Filling the empty walls

I'm a photographer and I forget to print my pictures. All the time. They'll sit on my backup harddrive or on my blog and I forget about the whole printing and framing thing. Usually I go through phases where I want to print everything and frame. I've been going through that phase a lot as of late so when Snapmade asked me to try out their personalized gifts, I instantly picked out a couple canvas prints! I have WAY too many photos I need to print and hang. All my heavily trafficked areas of the house are pretty full on wall space. But our bedroom is pretty bare and I'm not sure why that is. I never put too much effort into our bedroom, but I want to. A lot of people want their bedrooms to be a sanctuary or place of peace. My bedroom is basically a giant closet that we happen to sleep in. So that should give you a fram of reference for what it looks like on a daily basis. I would like that to change but it seems no matter how many times we try, we are so lazy about keeping up with the bedroom mess. I actually enjoy cleaning the rest of the house. Not necessarily organizing (everyone who's been here knows that our cabinets are jenga), but I like to clean and give my house the appearance of organization. So why don't I have that same motive with our bedroom? Bleh!

But that was all besides the point. What I was getting at was that I am trying to create a more cozy atmosphere in our bedroom and so we have recently started hanging up prints from our wedding, sessions and snapshots of life all around the room. The newest are these two canvas prints from Scotland. The small square canvas is myself and Grant in front of Loch Ness and the large 8x10 canvas is a shot of the Loch under the cool light of the moon. I was VERY pleased with the quality and coloring of the prints which came to me looking just like the originals. I am pretty picky about print quality (please don't take your digitals to Walmart) especially when the originals were so meticulously edited. A bad printer will just throw all that work out the window. Seeing as how the price was SO reasonable, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I was of course pleasantly surprised and pumped to hang them up immediately. I also snagged a custom hoodie from Snapmade as well, but more on that one later ;) Thank you Snapmade for allowing me to review your beautiful prints. Definitely a steal of a deal so if you are looking for a fun personalized gift for the holidays, check them out!
