Floor makeover

Since that picture was taken on the left, we've gotten a new stove (because I shattered our first stove), a new dishwasher, new lights and now new floors. Recently during a very miserable day, our toilet overflowed (more like exploded) while the plumber was working on it and all the hallway, bathroom and some of the kitchen floors were ruined. Fun stuff right? -_- Thankfully I switched insurance this year so we had a lower more feasible deductable and so our floors were able to be replaced. Picking out new floors was super fun though! I wanted some rustic, as close to hardwood looking floors as I could get and I picked out this gorgeous varied width laminate from Menards. Ah, it's gorgeous! Definitely my favorite of all the laminates we looked at AND one of the cheapest thanks to a big sale! Now we have this beautiful floor all through the halls, bathroom, kitchen and living room. I'm smitten. You know you're an adult when floors can make you this excited.
