Goumikids {review + giveaway!}

I've had the pleasure of working with another local company making awesome baby things, and am excited to share these products with you!

Goumikids is run by two mamas who use organic, breathable materials and fashionable prints for their baby mitts, hats, and booties.

We received a full set with all three items and they have quickly become my go-to item for getting baby Dylan ready for the day. What's the worst thing about newborn socks? They do NOT stay on their feet! The goumi boots, to my {delighted} surprise, do stay on and only come off when I decide to take them off. She wears them around the house all the time. I've put them through the wash already and they held their shape up well and did not fall apart one bit. The fabric is breathable, so no sweaty baby feet!

The mitts we use less but only because we've been indoors more lately staying out of the rain. They are super cute and are reversible, too! We do use them whenever we catch a break in the weather and decide to take a walk around the neighborhood.

The hat, though, is the big winner for me. It is not only completely adorable, but I feel comfortable and confident putting it on her head knowing that the materials used {bamboo and organic cotton} are safe for her to wear for long periods of time. And again, no sweaty baby head due to the breathability of the fabric. It's stretchy but does not stretch out, and it's easy to tie up under the chin or leave untied and the strings hang down. She has worn the hat every day last week and it will be a winter staple.

I'm very pleased with all aspects of these products: the design, the quality of the fabric, the quality of construction and the price point. Generally I don't look to spend much money on these types of items, but after trying all three and loving them, I'm definitely willing to make the investment without second thought. I have two friends expecting babies this winter and I'm planning on gifting them the newborn set...and pick up another pair of booties and a hat for us, too.
