Style it Simple, Part I

Fashion is an industry of consumption. Designers are taxed to churn out an ever-growing list of collections, bringing new styles and "must-haves" to market, and the fashion media is laser focused on "what's new". It's not necessarily a bad thing (hey, I blog about it!), but keeping up can be daunting, especially if we don't have the time, money, or inclination to follow trends. So this week I'm keeping it simple - looking at timeless pieces that can be worn in a variety of circumstances. You know, the stylish workhorses of your closet!
