Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays. I know it gets a lot of negative buzz from people saying it's not a 'real' holiday but anything involving roses, chocolates, hearts, and the colors red and pink makes dull February that much better right? I don't think of this holiday as a couples day but a day to show love for family and friends, and perhaps to eat some chocolates. As a kid I can remember the excitement of giving out valentine's day cards in class and eating cupcakes and that excitement has stayed with me well into adulthood!
