Snow Day

This week we received our first real snow storm while being here in Connecticut. The kids were so funny. Abigail loved it, she could run around and play carefree! Liam liked it for the first few minutes, but once his little hands (which already do not have great circulation) get cold he is done for.
I thought we could take advantage of these fun new snow clothes from black Friday and explore the snow. Although I realized we don't really have anything fun to play with in the snow, but I do have a large amount of cardboard boxes...they could be make shift sleds, right?! I wish I had thought to grab a rope, pulling these sleds were hard work, but the kids were happy with made me happy. We tried to make a snow man and learned it would be a lot harder to do here. The snow here doesn't stick to itself very easily, so we gave up and instead ran around, or in Liam's case sat there and tried to eat the snow.
The only thing that would have made this more fun would have been to have Jared with us. We miss him a lot.
