And we are in!

I never want to move again. That is what I keep saying, and yet I know that within the next 6 months we will be moving again. The thought absolutely kills me! I don't know how people move all the time. We moved all of our stuff out of the truck the day before Thanksgiving, and spent all weekend unpacking. It finally looks and feels like a home, but that came at a price...a lot of work!
Karlee watched our kids while we moved everything out, which also gave me time to get the home ready for sleeping. But first I had to protect the apartment, because of course, we move out when its snowing and move in when its raining.
The kids had a blast playing with Karlee's kids!
I finally learned the concept of living out of boxes!
We were finally able to get portacribs set up and move boxes around and unpack enough for Thanksgiving, Karlee even came over to help us late into the night.
Thanksgiving was a little crazy, we were invited to Thanksgiving dinner from someone in the ward. I felt so bad not being able to offer anything I scrounged out some orange rolls and a sweet potato casserole. It was a miracle I did that in this kitchen with hardly any tools, as it was I had to borrow several things from Karlee because more than half of the boxes we needed were in the garage.
Finally made it to dinner...only a little late, it was so much fun. The perfect break we needed after such long days.
They had thought of everything, they even had place settings for each child. It was beautiful!
Dinner was delicious, I haven't eaten like that in some time! I didn't want to move from my chair.
And the kids loved being able to play with toys instead of boxes
It was the perfect evening, I am so thankful for loving family and friends, for the support we feel without even asking for. We are truly blessed!
I was even able to go out and do some black Friday shopping, I got some required apparel for living in Connecticut for the kids for a steal of a deal!
Later I was even able to get festive with the decor
It is finally beginning to feel like Christmas!
I also wanted to document where we are living: Kids' room
Kids' Bathroom
Living room
cont...
Eating area
Kitchen
Master Bedroom
Master Bathroom
We feel so lucky to have landed in such a great apartment. It is the perfect landing spot before we can find somewhere to set some roots down.
