MAC Ultimate
It’s not very often that I can’t summon up an opinion on a product, but this Sheer Mystery Powder (£40) from the MAC Ultimate collection – I just don’t have anything much to say! It’s a powder. It’s not mysterious. It’s very light in texture. The packaging for MAC Ultimate is angular and a pewter metallic shade so it’s quite striking.. but.. ..to me these look like a pair of table legs. I just don’t get it! MAC Ultimate is basically a range of ten new lipsticks and four shades of powder, so it’s kind of a micro range for MAC. The shades I have here are Vogue en Violet and Femme de Luxe (£20) and I can’t knock the pigmentation.. they’re intense with creamy finish. Great and gorgeous colours, and if you need a new table or chair leg, super useful. Otherwise, bit clunky. The MAC Ultimate collection launches into Harrods and MACcosmetics.co.uk exclusively in February.
