I know it's only the first week in February, but man, doesn't winter seem to be dragging? We got two feet of snow in Chicago earlier this week and we're still buried. I'm so ready to be able to walk outside without putting on a coat and hat, dudes. I'm actually ready for a lot more than that, if we're being honest here. I'm ready for all the summertime stereotypes - long days, thick grass under bare feet, cold drinks, colorful flowers, fresh fruit, poolside hangs, and SUNSHINE. The sun likes to hibernate beneath a nice thick blanket of gloom in the midwest for weeks on end this time of year, and it's the thing I miss most. Sun-soaked photos like these beautiful images I'm sharing here have been getting me through and reminding me that in just a few short months, the golden days will indeed return. For those of you who are as over winter as I am, I hope they do the same for you.
