I really struggle to describe my style but there is one theme I'd always return to.. vintage. I love to mix modern and old so when I saw this 60's inspired scoop pinafore on atypical girl it was quite simply love. at. first. sight.

as much I'm embracing winter binge eating dressing I'm still overcome with the urge to throw on some pastels occasionally, old habits die hard. I'm not a huge fan of tights- I'll wiggle out of wearing them if there's the slightest hint of sunlight but I could practically hear my knees screaming at me. caroline 0, tights 1.

these shoes are pretty fabulous.. until I discovered the pebbles under this railway bridge. the words elephant on ice spring to mind, but they fit so well with the dress I was prepared to risk a trip to a&e.

...I'm off to tackle my mischievous kitten, he's developed a love of chewing my laptop power cable so fingers crossed this post lives to tell the tale!
