DIY Paper Succulent Wall Art

This DIY Paper Succulent Wall Art is such a simple Silhouette CAMEO project but the end result is stunning!

I adore succulents! Not only are they fun to look at, they are the ONLY houseplants my black-thumb can keep alive. And paper ones are even better since I don’t have to remember to water them!

Pretty cool what you can do with paper, right?

Here’s what you’ll need to make this project:

I cut out several succulents on cardstock in a light green and assembled them as shown below with glue. You just kind of pinch the leaves and fold toward the center, offsetting each layer (from largest to smallest).

To add a pop of color, I did a smaller yellow succulent, a greenish-teal one and two pink Gardenias. For the Gardenia, you shape the spiral into a flower gluing as you go and curling the leaves a bit. I used tacky glue and little clips this time but I often use hot glue for my paper flowers since it sets faster (and I’m impatient).

Then, I cut a piece of cardstock to the size of my frame (5×7) and placed it in front of the glass.

I played around arranging the succulents and flowers on the paper in the frame until I was happy with the layout. Then I just glued them on and let it lay flat to dry!

Such a fun little piece of statement art!
