My Favorite Slow Cooker Recipes

Guess what? I finally have a slow-cooker in my life! Apparently I dropped enough hints, because my mom and my mother-in-law each got us this beauty for Christmas (yes, we returned one), and my favorite hobby of the new year has been testing out recipes that I can throw in the cooker in the morning… then reap the rewards at the end of the day. I am learning, however, that not all slow-cooker recipes are created equal. There’s a major difference between the mushy, bland quality of some crockpot recipes of the past, and the full-of-flavor, tenderized, comforting dishes we’ve recently been devouring.
