Right next to the hip and happening Foodhallen in Amsterdam, you can find Lot Sixty One Coffee Roasters. Real coffee connoisseurs know that this is one of the best places in town to get your cup of black delight.

1. What’s the interior and atmosphere like?
Lot Sixty One is a small and authentic coffee house with a lovely vibe. As you step in, you can already notice that these guys take their profession seriously. Their equipment is top-notch and their cups look original too. They even have their name inside the cups. So, when you have sipped from your layer of foam, you can see ‘Lot Sixty One’ on the inside, so very cute! Besides that, you will find a lot of details in black and gold. The interior is absolutely lovely.

2. How is the coffee?
The coffee is probably one of the best and purest in town. Their V60 filter coffees and flat whites are certainly on the to-drink list. You can literally taste the freshly roasted beans. Their roasting machine is placed in the store, so you can even see how they make their black beauties. It’s like you’re looking backstage in the world of coffee brewery.

3. Could you get work done here?
This place has some nice seats downstairs. You face a clean white wall, so no distraction on that part. However, this place is pretty popular amongst the Amsterdammers, bloggers and tourists. So, expecting complete silence and peace might not happen here immediately.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to do a little meeting or check your social media, this is it. On off-peak hours, you can probably even write a few things! Add a slice of homemade carrot cake to that, and your working experience will go even smoother and sweeter.

4. Where is it?
Right on the Kinkerstraat, facing a bit of a pretty canal and next to the Foodhallen. It’s not located in the tourist area, but it still has a very busy and lively vibe.
