Loud and Clear

Hello lovelies! It’s been about a week since I’ve been back in Toronto after my little Winnipeg vacay, and man do I ever feel so refreshed! Somewhere amongst the easy pace of spending my days lunching with old pals and quality time with my man (and a giant bag of cutesy asian junk food) in the evenings, I found the kind of clarity that only comes with switching one’s perspective.

Although I very much enjoyed lazing about in my hometown for a change, the slower pace eventually made me restless! Towards the end of my trip, I had so much energy and inspiration from meeting up with old friends and that I actually couldn’t sleep. I came to several realizations that have not only changed my way of thinking, but has also motivated me to the max. Long story short– this newfound drive is the reason why I’ve been getting up earlier every morning, embracing exercise and the momentary pain before the gain that comes with it, and hustling extra hard at work / my summer internship (details to come).

As a nod to my new state of mind, I’ve taken to wearing my favourite quartz jewelry–which not-so-coincidentally, is a crystal known to promote power, energy and clarity. Gabriela of LUMO Jewelry was kind enough to send me a couple of my favourite pieces, and of course I had to choose their Herkimer diamond ring and circle ring to compliment my favourite pendant.

Next up on my jewelry wish list is a little something with Citrine–the crystal that promotes success, prosperity and money. ‘Cuz you know, a little money in the bank never hurt anyone.
