Makeshift

When the days are as hot as they are long, and the contents of your closet are not nearly as numerous as there are days in your summer vacation (this whole coming-home-for-the-summer-with-less-than-half-of-my-closet-thing is no picnic), well then–it’s time to improvise!

In a pinch, this vintage belt works wonders as a makeshift harness, instantly adding interest to an otherwise simple outfit. Although it looks amazing paired with washed-out summer hues, I can’t wait to pair this this stark white belt with the darker shades come fall.
