In Review: The Pizza Bible

The Krumms love pizza. It’s one of the few things Drew will readily eat without complaining (unless of course he had his heart set on peanut butter and jelly. . .) In 2015 my sister and I have vowed to have a pizza night at least once a month.

I am super excited about Tony Gemignani’s The Pizza Bible. It covers pretty much every style of pizza you can think of —American, Chicago, Grilled, and way more — and tells you step by step exactly how to execute. Also included are many charts, such as a go to flour list, and shopping lists. I love the fact that Gemignani is a pizza maker, as well as co-owner of the International School of Pizza (sign me up!). This isn’t just another pizza recipe book by someone who just likes to bake pizza.

I’m really excited to try the fig, almond, and monterey jack pizza. There’s a couple recipes for a Chicago style and deep dish that I know is going to be a hit with the boys.

All in all this is a great book. I love the recipes and the photography is spot on. A great addition to any pizza lovers collection.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
