It represented a high quality line of cheeses and sausages sold by a local entrepreneur named Richard Ransom. My mom was somewhat of a pioneer in the sense that she always tried to support locally owned businesses and would shop at the local farm markets. My mother would also proudly host every party with a delicious arrangement of smoked gouda cheese along with beef summer sausage and golden toasted crackers, sweet hot mustard and roasted nuts that she proudly purchased at the Maumee Ohio Hickory Farms store. We celebrated every single occasion with our closest family and our best friends around this assortment of savory and sweet treats.
