Easy Oreo Truffles Recipe

These easy and delicious Oreo truffles are the bee’s knees of no bake desserts. Just one and you’ll be hooked for life.

You guys, remember how I told you about our one treat a week situation? Well, I made these for Superbowl Sunday and I can’t get enough!! They are ridiculously easy to make, taste amazing and could be the cutest little gift you ever did see! With only a few ingredients, you’ve got an amazing dessert that you’ll have to hide from your family or they will disappear. For reals.

Ingredients & Supplies:

1 package of Oreo cookies (regular Oreos, not double stuff or fudge)

8 oz package of cream cheese (Room Temperature)

16 oz of chocolate melts or Baker’s chocolate

1 Tbsp of vegetable oil (optional)

Sprinkles

Wax or Parchment Paper

Toothpicks

Cupcake wrappers

Instructions:

In a food processor (I used my Vitamix) grind down the cookies (cream filling and all). It will create a thick powder. Then, mix cookie powder with room temperature cream cheese.. Roll into 1″ balls and place on wax paper or parchment paper. Either will work fine. Place in freezer for 15-20 minutes. Remove from freezer stick a toothpick in each ball.

Next, melt your chocolate. Mine was super thick so I added a tablespoon of vegetable oil and it was the perfect consistency for dipping.

Dip your ball into the chocolate and set on parchment paper and add sprinkles (if desired) Allow chocolate to dry and harden.

Twist toothpicks and remove slowly. Add extra sprinkles to cover the toothpick hole. When the chocolate is set, place in a mini cupcake wrapper and you’ve got the cutest little truffle ever!

These are so rich and yummy that you only need one or two to get your sweet fix for the day! Box up a few for an adorable and delicious gift! Hope you like them!!! Tag us on instagram if you make them! (@classyclutter) Enjoy!!!
