What to do With Old Calendars

It’s almost the end of the year and soon some of us will have old calendars that will just be put in a drawer, thrown away or gather up dust somewhere. Or you might be really sentimental about your calendar because it’s pretty or there’s a story behind each month. So why not do something useful and creative with it? If you have paid money for your calendar you will get even more value for your money by reusing it.

Here are some ideas you can try.

Use as notecards or gift tags

If your calendar has a pretty piece of art on each page you can cut it off and use it as a thank you note, lunchbox note or gift tag. This will work best if your calendar was printed on thick paper.

Use as scrap paper

You can use the blank side of the calendar as scrap paper to make to-do lists. I do this all the time. Don’t throw away perfectly good paper that you can use again.

Use as wrapping paper

If you have small gifts to wrap and are looking for a creative way of doing it, why not use an old calendar? Great Smitten shared this creative idea.

Make wall art

If your walls are looking a little bare and in need of colour, cut off the colourful part of your calendar and frame it.

What other ideas can you think of to do with an old calendar?
