Weekly Wish List: A Pre-Spring Workwear Update

Last week I made the dangerous decision to step into J.Crew’s Sloane Square store, which unsurprisingly resulted in a few naughty impulse purchases. But, for the most part, I managed to control my overwhelming desire for all things J.Crew, and instead feasted on inspiration and ideas. Most of which could be filed under the workwear category, so naturally I’m now fantasising about interning for Jenna Lyons in NYC. And I’d pack all of the above!
Slouchy, relaxed tailoring is currently looking super appealing, so I’d pair Next’s stripe shirt with tapered navy pants and block heels or Marc by Marc’s utility skirt. Topshop’s bar handle tote bag has also stolen my heart – it’s got to be one of the best handbags on the high street this season. Get it while you can (it also comes in black, FYI).
Update: Eek! The Topshop bag has now vanished from their website. I’m trying to find out if its sold out completely, but hopefully you’ll still be able to find it in stores.
